Harness

My husband was a Jeep® fan(atic) before I married him. After moving to California we started doing serious rock crawling in our Jeep®. We have two precious pooches that I love to take everywhere. However, the dangers they faced while wheeling with us made me very uncomfortable.

Most people tie a tether to their dog's collar or chest harness and attach it to the top of the roll cage. This method gave me no comfort. In the marketplace I found only glorified chest harnesses with a strap or loop attached to them; these require the dog to sit still in a forward facing position. My dogs certainly won't do that! In addition, dogs on a tether can still jump out or be thrown from a vehicle - leaving them hanging from their neck. And, they can slip out of their chest harnesses, on their own or during an accident.

So I set out to develop a harness for my dogs that would secure both their front and rear-ends. Sounds funny, I know, but I got to work. I created a harness system that secured the entire dog to one central mounting point in the vehicle. The dog could move around this central point, but in the event of an accident the distance the dog could travel would be limited. And since the dog is secured at both ends, he can't slip out. My dogs can stand, sit, lie down, circle, and explore a limited area while still remaining restrained and stabilized. And now when we go off-roading I have peace of mind!

I want you to have peace of mind too! Now that more and more states are requiring dog restraints in open vehicles, and more people are going mobile with their pets, it's time for an effective and easy-to-use canine restraint system. The Buckle-Up-Pup harness system is my solution, and my commitment to pet lovers everywhere. Buckle up your pup, whether you're off-roading or just running errands around town.
